There’s nothing better than a good wing hunt… except maybe turning it into a road trip with friends—old and new ❤️

Tisha and I kicked things off early Friday morning, heading south from Evansville to meet up with Jennifer (from the group!) for the very first time. She and her husband were traveling down from Minnesota to Guthrie, Kentucky to visit family—and making wing stops the entire way.

Of course, we had to do the same 😉

1st stop had double wings right downtown and most importantly, COFFEE!

Madisonville Kentucky.

2nd Stop : Oak Grove Kentucky.

One of the strangest spots I have ever found wings – The Ladies bathroom at the Casino. But who am I to judge? Say cheese!

The Oak Grove War Memorial trail

From there, we headed to Clarksville and found one of the coolest wing spots inside a tattoo shop.

And THIS is why I always say—talk to people!!

The artists there ended up telling us about three more wing murals in town that weren’t even on the map yet 😍

That’s the magic of a wing hunt… you never know what you’ll discover.

After Clarksville, we made our way into Nashville and started knocking out wings before we could even check into our hotel.

We were on a mission 💪

Some were exactly where they should be…
Some were gone…

And honestly—that’s just part of it.

Art comes and goes. It’s sad when a set disappears, but it also keeps things exciting—and helps keep the map updated for everyone else.

🌮 Food Break (Because… Priorities)

We finally slowed down long enough to grab dinner at Velvet Taco

And WOW. Absolutely worth the stop.

Good tacos + great company = perfect way to wrap up the night 🌮

🌧️ Beating the Weather

The next morning, we were up early with one goal:

Beat the rain that was rolling in around 3PM.

Challenge accepted ✔️

We squeezed in more wings, found a couple of new ones, and confirmed a few that are no longer there (RIP to the retired wings 🪽💔).

🛍️ The Final Stop (Because It’s Tradition)

No road trip is complete without a good thrift stop…

So we wrapped up the adventure at Mega Goodwill 🙌

Because let’s be honest—wing hunting and thrifting just go together.

🪽 Final Thoughts

This trip had everything:

  • New wings
  • Lost wings
  • Unexpected finds
  • Amazing food
  • And meeting a fellow wing hunter for the first time ❤️

It’s crazy how something as simple as wing murals can bring people together from all over the country.

And THIS is exactly why I love doing what I do.

If you’re ever heading to Nashville…
Trust me—make time for a wing hunt.

You won’t regret it 🪽✨
