By the end of March, we were on a bit of a time crunch — but that wasn’t going to stop the wing hunt 💪
So instead of a big road trip, we decided to stay local and hit a few wings right here in Evansville.
And honestly… it turned out to be the perfect little adventure.
📍 Franklin Street Wing Stops
We met up on the west side of Evansville — specifically Franklin Street, where you can literally find multiple bars… all with wings 🙌

1. Bud’s Rockin’ Country Bar & Grill
This spot has a huge set of Kelsey-style wings featuring Evansville landmarks — definitely a standout and a great way to kick off the hunt.

2. Six Strings (across the street)
Another bar… another set of wings 😄
The wings are actually upstairs, and even though the area was closed off, the bartender was amazing — took us up and even moved tables around so we could get the perfect shot.
👉 Those are the moments that make these trips so fun.

☕ Coffee Break (because obviously)
We made a quick stop at Kite & Key for coffee — because no wing hunt is complete without caffeine ☕✨
3. Damsels
Our final Franklin Street stop — and this time we slowed down just enough to grab an appetizer.
Because let’s be honest…
👉 no wing hunt is complete without snacks either 😂

🛍️ Bonus Stop — East Side
We wrapped things up with a drive to the east side to visit:
Locally Loved Boutique
Did a little shopping and ended the day on a perfect note 💜

Sometimes the best ones are:
- Close to home
- Easy to plan
- Full of hidden gems you’ve driven past a hundred times
✨ Proof that you don’t have to travel far to find amazing wings.
